okay, so my 7 month old lab has a doggy-bed on "daddys" side of the bed, but the last couple of nights he has been sleeping on my side, i have been having some symptoms of early pregnancy, and my period is still not due for another week, so im hoping this time i really am pregnant, because my husband and i have had some false alarms in the past, and would like very much to expand our family beyond he and i and our dog teke.

I am 3 months pregnant and our whippetxlurcher will not leave me alone!!she is normally quite aloof at times but now she follows me everywhere she cannot get close enough to me on our sofa she's practically on my knee!!she's also taken to following me up to bed and squashing herself to me as close as possible!

shortly after i found out i was pregnant my dog became very clingy and overprotective! She loves people but now if someone comes around she doesnt know she barks and growls if they come close to me or even talk to me. She also wont let me out of her sight...she has to see me wherever i go, even when i go to the bathroom she is either right there staring at me or right outside the door, its kind of annoying i figured she get sick of me stepping on her all the time, oh also if i sit on the floor like indian style she comes up and plops her but right on me and sits on my lap.. .like she wants to be the baby, and for being a lab shes a pretty big baby!

I just read at pregnancy-info.net, that your pets can act differently when you get pregnant, even you do not know you are pregnant yet. This made mi think, since my hubby and I are TTC. I am about 4 DPO, and have no clue if this time it worked. Just last night my cat (still kitty-7 months old) decided to sleep almost on my face, or at least pretty close to me, and even when I moved, she was pressing on me. Usually, when she wanted to sleep with us, and we yelled at her, she never came back (slept under the tub). This time there was no chance to get her out off bed (or actually off me). My husband even said I should be careful because animals can sense something, so he was worry something can happened to me today. Then I was searching the web for some early pregnancy signs, and got this article. Could my pet sense that I am pregnant, and act like this? I will find out in 10 day.....:)
