I have a 4 year old cat that usd to love the outdoors and hated to be cuddled. But since we had found out that I was pregnant she has been clinging to my side. everywhere I go and everything that i do she is right there beside me. she has also been meowing alot more than usual she has to be pet or she will keep it up all night long.she loved to be out doors and now she won't go out she has to be with me. she hated to cuddle and now she has to be cuddled up to me belly and my arm around her before she will go to sleep. she used to eat all of her soft catfood but now she just take the juices out ans leaves everthign else. She will NOT eat MEAT. Now that is not normal for a cat. She has been very strange if u ask me. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I am a first time dog owner and just found out I am pregnant with my first baby about two weeks ago. My dog is really affectionate, but somewhat hyper. At times he can be a little unpredictable in terms somewhat rough play, although he is never mean. He is 7 1/2 mths old and still being trained, but I am starting to think about how he will react toward a new little one in the house. Anyone who has been through something similar or has advice, I'd love to hear from you!

Dogs can sense if you are pregnant and want to protect you even more than before. My Dog Sasha is 9years old, she has always been very affectionate but recently she follows me everywhere and always sits right in front of me when i am in a seat its as if she is blocking the world from my "mummy tummy"

Last time I was pregnant with my 3 yr old daughter , My husband and I would take our dog to a dog water park and if anydog came near me , he would growl at them and walk them off and circle me. I am also pregnant now with my second and My cat sleeps in between my legs and my dog is stuck to me like glue again.

We just got our dog last June and he has been "my dog" since I picked him out, but I really believe he senses the baby. More and more as I get bigger he follows me everywhere! It does not matter, to the bathroom, getting ready for bed he warms up my side, or doing any kind of chore he is always by my side. He has been much better behaved around me than my husband, who is mainly his playmate. He also seems to know not to jump up on me at all, which is good since he is 60 pounds and only 10 months old. I know he will be good with the baby if he is this gentle with me.
