While I was pregnant before, I loved to smell Cascade. It drove me crazy to not be able to smell it...now I have had my daughter...and I crave the smell of Pine Sol & Simple Green. I have no idea why.

I crave the smell of cleaning stuff, like Comet, Pine Sol and Simply Green. I sat in the tub the other day and held a bottle of Pine Sol just under my nose to sniff it every now and then. My husband enjoys that I like these smells because I clean a lot more now! I also crave Snyder's Butter Snaps pretzels, raw carrots and eating ice. I don't know what is wrong with me because even I think these are weird cravings! I really and truly would dip a pretzel in the Pine Sol if I thought it was at all rational. Weird.

I am also craing chalky stuff, especially TUMS. I worry if I can harm the baby if I eat too many... but it's so hard to resist.

I am due January 2008. In my 7th week, I am craving all kinds of fruits and veggies and licking the salt off pretzels to stave off nausea. I also take a sniff of Vick's baby rub in the morning to stave off nausea. This time around though, the nausea isn't so bad. With my first pregnancy, nothing worked to stop the all-day morning sickness. At my worst moments, the only foods/liquids I could keep down were chicken soup, coca-cola and eggs. So far, I like this better!
