It's more like what I do NOT want to eat/drink that amused me- 1st pregnancy I couldn't eat pizza or any kind of red sauce, coffee, citrus. This pregnancy I still cannot eat pizza or red sauce stuff but I can't get enough mexican or citrus - grapefruit especially. I eat it all the time. Go figure!

I love the smell of soap! I stand in the Wal-mart soap isle and just smell body soap all day! I sleep with it under my pillow and i even licked it in the shower! I guess im just a crazy pregnant bohemian!

With my 1st pregnancy I did not have any cravings. With this pregnancy I crave baking soda or antacid tablets– I believe it is the chalk taste that I am craving, trust me it’s not the taste. I crave ice, the smell of household cleaning products. (Big Orange, Comet & Pine Sol)

I thought I was going crazy with my cravings for "smelling things" until I read other peoples cravings for smell. This is my fourth pregnancy, and I love to smell Coast body soap ( I have a bar of it on my night stand to smell every night!), gasoline, Fantastic Cleaning Spray, Spray and Wash aerosol laundry stain remover, and other cleaning products. And I love to feel the foaming cleansers in my hands, squishing it!!! It drives me crazy!!! I just hope it goes away after delivery and by smelling these it doesnt harm my unbaby!!!

This is for Wendy. I am 17wks with #4 and with the three before this I too craved ice, crushed ice and lots of it, I would actually skip meals because I was so full from all of the ice I crunched. I don't have this craving yet with this one, but we will see. I have been told by many health care professionals that ice cravings can mean that you are anemic. You might want to have your Iron checked.
