this is the weirdest thing so dont laugh i crave the smell of flash bathroom cleaner mmmmm.
and finger and toe nails chewing them up and even swallowing them i cant help it any one else

I'm exactly the same as Desiree - anything toxic. This is my second pregnancy and with the first I used to give into the cravings (deeply inhaling at gas stations and when my husband would start the car and other crazy things) - thank god my son (now 18 months) is fine but I'm finding that I'm just starting to get the same cravings again with this pregancy! I told my midwife yesterday and she seemed alittle alarmed, so am I to be honest as the cravings can be quite intense!

I crave Cascade Complete powder soap. I can't stop smelling it. Last night I found a way to satisfy my craving by chewing Sour Patch lime candy and sniffing the soap. Gives the feeling like your eating it without actually doing so. I know this sounds so crazy. I would never put a non food item in my body or harm the baby but this craving is ridiculous. I am at work right now and actually want to go buy some on my lunch break because I can't stop thinking about it.

I haven't had any food cravings, but I see I am not the only one who has cravings for certain smells. I couldn't figure out why I wanted to clean all the time. I love the smell of ammonia in the floor cleaner. I am cleaning my tub with Soft Scrub everyday! The smell of the dryer sheets...weird chemical smells. Things that would have been very strange for me before. I want to spend every moment in the basement. The smell of the damp basement makes me just tear up with joy!!! I think of things to bleach. I want to wash the clean clothes so I can bleach them....and then put them in the dryer. I haven't ever met anyone else who has had the same experience as me. Very strange.

At first i craved fruits like pineapple but only the fresh stuff...and then was strawberries couldnt get enough of them now im 35 weeks and all i crave and no its not the taste or anything but its the smell of my fabric softenner and the smell of a freshly opened bag of cat litter...shaking the dust up just is the most wonderfull smell in the world to me right now...but before that i couldnt stand the smell of it...go figure lol

I have the weirdest cravings ever. This is my first pregnancy and Im a pediatric suregeon. I was in the OR on thursday and right in the middle of the surgery I just HAD to have those crunchy chowmain noodles in tuna with maonaise with whipped cream on top. I had to ask the scrub nurse to and prepare it for me and i think she probably thinks that im insane!!
