This is a boys name. I was reading a novel by Ann Rice and one of the characters was named Merrick. I thought it was a great name for a girl and so I decided to use it. Besides, it was also the only name we could both agree on!!

me and my boyfriend were having a baby but sadly we had a miscarriage a few weeks ago :( we decided on the name Madison Rae.. the boy was undecided.

For my little girl that I was going to have, her name would have been, Cassandra-Lee and Cassie-Lee for short... but I like the names Kaylen-Marie for a girl and I'm not too sure for a boy to be honest.

If my husband and I have a boy we will name it in memory of his brothers Mark Michael and then in honor of my father Martin, for Mark Michael Martin. Even if we have a girl we will name it after the same name sakes, but the name would be Markiya Michael Martin.
