Names are difficult. I find it is such a responsibility to be given, to choose a name for somebody that they will be identified as forever (or until they can legally change it if it proves really terrible). I think some parents are very selfish in their name picking, far out, wacky names with ridiculous spellings are just asking for pain for the poor person later i think. Any way, each to their own :-) My husband and I have chosen the name
"Griffin" for our expected son. We like the meaning "mythical creature, half lion and half eagle, fierce and faithful protector". If we were having a girl, we liked "Summer" as well as "Claudia" and "Portland".
