well, this is my 1st baby and iam scared of labour pains. can you plz tell me what can I do to reduce the labour pains and get rid of this fear

I am terrified. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years. After taking numerous tests, they can't find anything wrong. I missed my period, and come to find out I am pregnant. I went to the doctor this morning for blood work. He called me back mid-day and told me that it didn't look like a "robust" pregnancy. My progesterone levels are 6 something, and my HGC is low, too. I am about 5 weeks. The only thing I ever wanted in life is to be a mom-I want to carry this baby full term. Has anyone else had low levels and gone on to have a healthy full term baby? I have no spotting, cramping, etc. He told me that it could be a 50/50 chance of carrying the baby. He said my levels could be low due to an ectopic pregnancy or impending miscarriage. PLEASE HELP! I'M DEVASTATED!

I AM SCARED TO DEATH. I AM HAVING THE MOST HORRIFIC NIGHTMARES ALMOST EVERY NIGHT ABOUT SOMETHNG TERRIBLE HAPPENING. I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HAPPY TIME. ALL I EVER DO IS WORRY AND THINK UGLY THOUGHTS. I JUST HOPE AND PRAY THAT I HAVE A HEALTHY BABY. JUDGING ON THE THE COMMENTS, I SEE THAT IM NOT ALONE. I FEEL LIKE SOMETHING BAD IS HAPPENING TO MY BABY ALL THE TIME. I GO FRO BLOOD TESTS TODAY, AND IM SCARED TO DEATH.

I've gained 74lbs already and don't want the baby to be any bigger than my Doctor is expecting and I'm just really miserable and don't want to be pregnant anymore.

i am mostly worried that my baby could be autistic. although it is my second baby it is 13 years after my first. i am eight weeks and the lazy doctor did not let me hear its heart beat. now i have to wait a whole month longer. i found out that i have to have another c section because thats how i had the last one.
