Oh mothers with their 30 year old medical advice about how they were given enemas, shaved 'down there' and made to lie face down! Continually telling me I need animal fats (I'm vegan) and don't get me started on their amnio terror stories (I'm 38) ! I know they mean well, but it's just too much!

'Where to start?' is the question that begs to be asked! But mostly it really, really tires me being asked if I'm having twins, being told that I am so big, being told what a big baby we will have, being told I look like I'm ready to pop. I mean, are all these people without sensitivity? Don't they know we, preggers, are self-conscious enough about our weight and do not need any "reassurance" in that aspect? Today is one of those days I am honestly praying my maternity leave starts tomorrow so I can avoid all these comments and just enjoy my big, 36 week pregnant belly and relish in my boy's kicks. Rude, rude, rude! Thanks for letting me rant.... :-) I needed that!

I am so tired of all the stupid advice people are giving me just because they already have children. I also want to strangle my mother in law, she acts like SHE is giving birth to this baby!! :)She acts like my only purpose is to give birth to the baby and then I'm out of the picture! Also, stretch marks! I finally started getting them on my belly and it really upsets me because I want to be able to wear clothes like I did before being pregnant. And I'm tired of people laughing in my face when I say that I am aiming to be able to fit in my old clothes and smaller after the baby is born. Sometimes I get really tired of people....

I only found out at 9 weeks that I was expecting. I'm now 12 weeks and very excited. My mum died 5 years back and am finding doing this difficult without her support. My pet peeve is that my partner's mother on the other side of the world told us that it is too early to tell people. I feel like she has put a downer on it for him and now he is not as supportive as I could "loose the baby" and this is making me feel very frustrated.
