Please consider that there are many "Mum's" out there that have never felt the joy of baby kicking or had the opportunity to experience childbirth, and they are spectacular "Mums." Mothers who adopt and mothers who have had emergency c-sect like me, are still "Mums." It doesn't matter how a mommy becomes a "Mum" that little one's heartbeat and/or looking into her eyes is the only thing that matters.

I am having a c-section, but I am waiting until I go into labor. Hopefully all goes well. I just don't want to bring my baby into the world until he is ready. My first son was a c-section and one of the nurses who cared for us after the fact said that she had witnessed a womans uterus rupture during a v-bac and that it was very bad, she said it was a risk that she would not be willing to take. That was enough for me. That is just my opinion I don't think people are right or wrong for doing things there own way if the Dr. Thinks it is safe then so be it. Everyone comes into this world when they are supposed to scheduled or not. And as a final note, I really don't feel like any less of a woman or a mother for having a c-section the second time around.

I had to have an emergency c-section last august and i am now expecting again, i would not recommend a c/s to anybody, i think unless there is a medical reason for it you should have a normal delivery, it costs more money, you need more care and it takes longer to recover,I am having a normal delivery this time so for all those who say they had a previous c/s and thats there reason, thats rubbish!!I fell pregnant 3months after and there is no reason for me to go for a normal delivery.Nature intended baby to come out one way so why mess with that, I also think that you need to experience a normal delivery to have the knowledge of what a mum really means!

The baby should come when it is ready. Due dates aren't always accurate but unless you are severely overdue or there are emergency medical conditions......I say let baby come when he is ready!!!! I think scheduling a C-section to suit doctor and the Moms needs are selfish.

I am having a C-section, not just to choose the birthday, but also because I already had a C-section before, but I do think that it is a great idea. My mom lives in ontario and I live in Nova Scotia, so scheduling the birthday is great for me so she can book a flight and be here for it. I also have alot of other reasons why I want to have a C-section.

I am actually trying to avoid a c-section all together, being pregnant with Twins, however, some people feel as though it is the safest route when delivering twins. Some people have even asked me, why I would try to deliver naturally considering they feel it could be more risk. My due date is 3 weeks prior to the 40 week term, and I also already have an induction date scheduled. Ideally, I would like them to come on their own, and to deliver them vaginally, however, I have to evaluate the situation, considering my health, the babies health, and position. I may be one of those mothers, which have to schedule a c-section. I know of other mothers pregnant with twins, and from day one, had a scheduled C-section date. I do not demean their decision, just as I do not like my decision on what I may feel is best for my situation to be judged either. I did read many celebrities, are scheduling premature c-sections to reduce damage to their body, and before stretch marks, I personally find disgusting.
