I had a C-section recently for the birth of my first baby. If I could have done it naturally, I would have, as right now I am having problems with the C-section. So I would definately recommend a natural labor, if it is at all possible.

I think it is best to have the baby arrive on it's own, because after all nature knows best. There could be last minute things the baby needs and when the time is right, then the baby will come. Why gamble with the most precious gift of life. Good luck to all of you and your precious babies.

I think it is absolutely best to let baby decide when the time is right for him to enter the world. Childbirth should never be a matter of convenience for the mother or the doctor. The only exception to this is when the mother has had previous childbirth complications and she and her doctor agree that it would be safer to plan for a C-section.

I feel it's best to let baby come when the time is right. A C-section is a major surgery and why have major surgery instead of delivering the way nature intended?! I have never had a C-section and would NEVER plan one just for my convenience, that seems pretty crazy to me! You won't be pregnant forever, even if you do go over your due date. Your pregnancy will end eventually - even if it takes longer than what you'd like.

I think women should be allowed to choose, especially if in cases when there have been problems with perivous briths. Othwise the baby should come naturally. I too had a hard birth with my first baby, and lost my second. I asked for a C-section but didn't get one; I live in the UK. There must be something about the UK.

I really want a c-section, but the doctors all ignore me. I almost died 6 years ago in labour and I'm real scared. I think you should be allowed C-setions at request. I live in the UK and it's almost taboo to even suggest them. I believe that this is wrong and that a woman should be able to choose.
