I just found out last week! My husband knows plus my best friend at work because I had to tell somebody! I wanted to tell someone in my family so badly, but I know once one hears there is no way they will keep it a secret and since it is our first, I am worried about telling too soon. I searched the internet and can't find any good advice on when to tell people especially us first timers! Help!

I think whenever your ready you should tell everyone.. Don't go into your pregnancy thinking there is a possibility you could have a miscarriage and what could happen. Go into it positive thinking everything will be fine. I told everyone within a week of finding out I was pregneat. I also have a hard time keeping secrets lol....(laugh out loud)

As you can tell I just found out. I don't want to spill the beans too soon, but should I at least tell one person other than my husband. I am close to my sister and feel that it would be important to have her around if something should go wrong.

We told our daughter at 6 weeks and let her call our parents and siblings to share the news. We were going to wait until after my first ob appointment, but we couldn't keep it a secret any more!

I'm only about 4 weeks, and we told my family & my husband's family on Easter - couldn't keep it a secret any longer. :) I'm nervous about telling everyone though, in case something goes wrong - so I will tell everyone else after my first appt when it's "positive." :)
