Buy the Snoogle pillow. It is long and goes under your head, around your back and through your legs. The part that goes through your legs then goes under your belly to hold it up. I think I spent close to $70, but it was the BEST buy in my second pregnancy. I wish I had it for my first. I still get up to go to the bathroom every hour, however, when I do sleep, it is good sleep. I will use it too all the time after the baby is born. My two year old loves it in her bed too. We put it against the wall in her bed and it makes a great cushion.

I am onlt a few weeks away from having my son. i have found that I can sleep somewhat better by using a body pillow. And a smaller pillow behind my back as I lay on my side. When I lay on my back, which is very rare I sleep almost sitting up with a pillow under my legs. Hope that this will help some of you.

When I am really uncomfortable at night I put a two pillows under my head and shoulders so I propped up more, lodge another pillow against my back (as we must be on our sides) and get a body pillow between my legs, under my belly and wrap my arms around it. This doesn't leave much room for my poor husband though.

My advice is to get one of those body pillows and put it between your feet, legs and knees. That way you don't have to try to put all kinds of pillows here and there. And if you want pillows for your back. Get another body pillow. So that way you have a pillow all around you. It works for me. My other advice is sleeping in a comfy rocking chair, the one that can recline so you can put your legs up. But if what your doing is helping you sleep than stick with it. This is the way I get sleep. And if does help you than I am glad to have given my advice. Oh yea if you do a couple of back stretches it helps too.

lay a pillow in the normal position, then 2 pillows long ways down the bed, then, 2 more pillows on top of the rest but in the normal position, this way you can lay on your sides and back but still be sitting up, when laying on your sides make sure the pillows are under your belly. dont drink too much tea as tea is a diaretic, (something that makes you wee), dont drink when due to go to bed, so the last wee before bed emptys your bladder and stays empty longer, holding on to urine aslo helps to build your muscles, but dont leave it till your braking your neck, mind you, its aslo hard to sleep well when you have arms and legs stretching you in alsorts of positions, i find a warm bath then creaming your belly when led down in bed helps to carm the baby, use coco butter from the body shop, it also helps to reduce the risk of stretchmarks, you wake up feeling like a sticky hairbull but its worth it. well i hope this works for some, good luck and do the things that relaxes you too.

I was advised that sleeping on the left is a good sleeping position. It works when placing a small pillow under belly and under back. But after few hours sleep, back and legs start aching.
