I plan to breastfeed,I am due on in a few weeks and I can't wait to start,I feel it is best for the baby and there are a lot of benifits, like getting back to your normal weight faster, and overall having a healthier baby! It is also more convient in the middle of the night!

I would like to breastfeed but only for about six months. Iknow it sounds selfish but I would like to be able to drink and eat what I want without having to worry about it. I know it's best for the baby, but after 10 months of pregnancy I'm ready to have my body back and want to have my husband help with feeding. We'll see maybe I'll change my mind.

as an african american woman i don't know very many women who have breastfed their babies. however, after questioning a few of my friends, i found that they breastfed their babies. i am not under any type of pressure either way, but i am concerned about the binding factor of it all. i know that breastfed babies are more attached to their mother and for the most part my life is pretty busy. the other factor is that my husband only wants me to breastfeed so that he doesn't have to spend money on formula, which has gone up since my last baby ten years ago. i haven't made any definite decisions and probably won't until the baby is actually in my arms.
