hi! I am 29 years old and 14 weeks pregnant with twins. I learnt about them in my 6th week ,at the begining I was shocked but now I am really excited to see my babies. I had a severe morning sickness due to which I had to be hospitalized as early as on my 10th week. Now I am feeling better with the morning sickness easing out and cant wait for the babies to arrive.Be happy and think positive, it works wonders.... to all the mothers to be out there..

Hello! I gave birth to girl/boy fraternal twins in July of 2003 after twelve weeks of bedrest. The problems I had after birth were MUCH more severe than the problems during pregnancy. I dealt with Post Partum Depression for a year and a half after they were born. They're three years old now and life is wonderful, and we're even planning on having another child, but the risks of PPD are higher with twins, due to hormone levels and stress, so I encourage all of you to be especially vigilant and become familiar with the signs of PPD before it gets too out of control. The hardest part of it all was that my kids didn't get to see my true self for over a year and it interfered with my ability to bond with them and be the mother I now know I am capable of being. The first year was pretty rough with our twins (we already had a daughter who was 18 months when they were born, so we had 3 kids in 2 years) but now that I'm healthy and everyone is happy, I can definately say I'm glad we had our wonderful children as twins. They're such great friends and they play together so well--it's easy as pie, now that I'm used to it and they're older. I'm excited to watch them learn and grow together. Good luck! Enjoy every minute as much as you can--they grow up so fast!

I am 20 years old and 34 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins. A boy and a girl. I went through about 4 months of morning sickness, I think stress makes it worse... Honestly all I can say for all the newbies in the pregnancy, take it easy.. preterm labor is very common and you are going to want to take your babies home with you when you go... Also if anyone of your babies are breech you are most likely getting a c section... Being pregnant with my first 2 children has been hard but my time is almost up... Good luck ya'll

I am currently 32 weeks w/ fraternal (they think) twin girls. I turned 21 when I was 5 1/2 months pregnant. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for about 6 months when we found out we were finally pregnant...and at our 1st u/s at 21 weeks, we found out there was TWO babies!! I didnt have any morning sickness or anything either! I have went into preterm labor a few times, the dr has me on brethine pills and bedrest, beent his way since 29 weeks. At 29 weeks the girls were weighing in at 3lbs and 2 lbs 14oz...so they are doing great so far!! We both sooo excited about these two but we'er also scared out of our minds. These are our first children and we're afraid they'll come early or have something wrong w/ them. I hope all of you have wonderful healthy and long pregnancies!
