Hello, I am pregnant with identical twin girls. I am 36 years old and already have a four year old boy. I am 7 months pregnant and counting every second until they are here. Up until now I have had a pretty easy time with the pregnancy. I am a hairstylist and work on my feet for long hours.
The pelvic pressure is starting to get to me and I don't think I will be working up until the end. We can't wait until the babies are here. I know it will be a lot of work taking care of them but I rather that then carry them. We can't wait to see them. good luck to the rest of you.

I have 13 month old twins B/G and let me tell you...it is not that big of a deal raising two at once. The only time I notice how much work it can be is when I have to buckle them in and out of the car by myself. The diaper bag tends to be a little bigger and heavier too. Oh yah, and travelling is a bit of a pain because you have double the equipment. But really, those are my only complaints. My best advice is to keep them on the same schedule. When one wakes up to eat, feed the other one too. Put them to bed together, put them down for a nap together, etc. Once they notice each other, they totally entertain each other. They are so much fun to watch and such a joy to raise. I am so glad they have each other. Sometimes I think it must be a little sad and lonely for singleton babies. Anyhow, it is a total blast and I would do it again in a heartbeat. If I had my way...I would have another set of twins tomorrow! One final tip- get everything done while you are pregnant (and early) because you never know if you will be put on bed rest or if the twins will want to come early. Once they arrive nothing else matters and all unfinished projects stay that way for a long time. And DO NOT worry about the weight gain. I gained 60 lbs. with my twins (whoa- water retention!) By the time the twins were 4 months old I was back to my prepregnancy weight and I didn't even exercise. You just are so busy that you run around more, eat less, and the pounds melt away. Many people tell me, "You must have your hands full!" And I say, "Better than hands empty!"

Hello! I'm 41 and expecting twins B/G. This is our first pregnancy and we are so excited and can't wait to see them. So far, I had no morning sickness, no cravings, and my health has been really good. I am now 7 months, still working, and gained 30 lbs. It gets uncomfortable after sitting for long periods, so I try walking when I can. Everyone told me I'm small for carrying twins, but my OBGYN says the babies growth and weight are on target. I'm hoping to go to at least 36 weeks. Everyone has been so supportive and helpful. I just cant wait to see what they look like. Enjoy your preganancy ALL!!!.

Hello! I'm the mother of a 6 yr old little boy and 31 weeks pregnant with B/G twins. I am High Risk and have been on bed rest for 23 weeks. I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease), low blood pressure, and also Asthma. My doctor is trying to get me to 34-35 weeks, but I feel like I could have had them 2 weeks ago. The pain is almost unbearable at times and I would love to just give up. It's sites like this...hearing others that are going through similiar emotions and pains that keep me going. I too know that within a couple of weeks it will all be worth it. Finally, being able to see and love on my beautiful babies. We are all very fortunate...I believe it takes special people to care for multiples. Good Luck to all!!
*****P.S. Remember lots of warm baths, plenty of water, and lots of Kleenex!!
