I am 27 years old and 34 weeks pregnant with my second pregnancy, which happens to be fraternal twins. Baby A is vertex while Baby B is breech. My plains are to try & turn Baby B after Baby A is out. I know it is a possibility that I could have one baby vaginally and one by c-section, but as long as we all end up healthy that is OK.

I am 38 and first time pregnant with twin girls (not identical) and I have never been happier. I have been one of the lucky ones with no morning sickness, I did have some spotting week 6 but no problems since then. I found out really early that I was pregnant and it was twins when I went for my first scan and was told by the tech "I have something to tell you" I just said "its twins isn't it" and laughed (there is twins on both my mum & dad's side). Good luck to everyone. Whenever I tell someone its twins they say "oh you poor thing" unless they have had twins themselves then the say its the best thing they have ever experienced. I think it will be too so hang in there. I get scared too, but try to stay relaxed it will transfer to the babies.

Well, having twins was so hard. When I found out that I was having twins, I cried for days thinking about how I am going to be able to take care of them. Being a young mother and having twisd at the age 21 plus having children of the ages 5, 4 and 2 yrs, everyone would ask me if I have help at home. I would say yes because I didn't want anyone to feel sorry for me. In the beginning, it was hard because I was always at home and didn't have help, but now that they're older, it's not so bad.

I am 22 and have a 3 yr old son. My husband and I finally decided to try to get pregnant one more time. So we were excited to find out that we had in fact succeeded. I had gone to the doctor 3 times already and had one ultrasound done. When I was 15 weeks, I fell down my porch steps and hurt my back. I went to the doctor to check everything out and he said I was fine. He also told me to go ahead and do my quad 4 test. Four days later, he called me into his office for the results that were very bad. He said the baby had registared double the normal results and that there might be nerve damage. My heart dropped. He wanted to do an ultrasound to check. As soon as he put the camera to my stomach TWO HEADS appeared. He said, "The last time you were here, did I tell you that you are having twins?" I felt shocked and relieved all at the same time. Two babies explain the double results on the quad 4. They have since been retested and both are VERY healthy. I am so scared because I don't even know anybody with twins. But I have a lot of support from family and friends. We are expecting 2 girls and even my son is happy with that.

I started to show at 4 wks. My stomach was getting large and fast. I went into the hospital at 7 1/2wks due to a threatened miscarriage. The bleeding subsided and they did an ultrasound when the nurse was taking the scan of my stomach. I asked if she could see two because I was getting so big so quickly. Low and behold, she found a second hearbeat. I would have to say that showing early is definitely a good sign that you are carrying two.

Having already lost 1 baby this year, as you can expect finding out I was pregnant again was both exciting and scary. When I started bleeding and getting slight cramps I was terrified that I had lost my baby and it felt like deja-vu. After falling out with my doctor because she didn't want me to have a scan yet at only 8 weeks, she finally rang the EPU at my local hospital to arrange a scan. Sitting there waiting for my scan I was sure that I had miscarried again, and by the look on the lady doing the scan when I finally went in, I thought my fears were confirmed. But to my and my boyfriend's suprise she told me that there was not 1 but 2 healthy heart beats in my tummy!!! It turns out I'm expecting identical twins!!!!! I've been told of the risks involved with identical twin like TTTS and things, but I can't help but be excited and overjoyed. It just shows that the text book symptoms of pregnancy and miscarriage can be totally different for your body.
