Today is my due date, so I'm overdue. I'm very tired from this pregnancy. It's so hard after 40 weeks. I have an appointment on the 2nd of June for an induction. I hope that everything works out okay.

Castor oil does NOT work for everyone! It worked for my mother, but I tried it for my daughter 3 years ago, and it was nothing but a painful experience in the bathroom, and I still did not go into labor!!!

I was scheduled by my dr. to be induced 2 weeks early. Ultrasound showed baby was over 7lbs and dr. felt it was better to induce early because of my age. Once he broke my water, labor began, and my son was born less than 3 hrs later. BTW - castor oil seemed to work for my second son, born 18 yrs ago, 2 days late:) Hard to tell, though, if they were just ready to come anyway - who knows? I can say that I did not miss being pregnant those last two weeks this time - those are the longest!

Castor oil does not work. I have tried it with all of my pregnancies and all I can say is that it is unfortunately a waiting game. I am 2 days overdue and get to be induced on the 29th of May so I am very happy about that.

I am being induced tomorrow morning and my biggest fear is that it's not going to happen because they're too busy or something. I feel so much better reading all your stories. I have tried EVERYTHING too and nothing has worked. I'm so thankful that everyone that is pregnant this long feels the same way at the same points in time. If anyone reads this, please pray. We are trying to go natural even with the induction and I know it's going to hurt, but I'm so anxious to actually have the pain here because that means I'm that much closer to being done pregnant and finding out the sex of the baby and meeting he or she and being a parent.

I will be 38 weeks tomorrow. I will have been dilated 2 cm for 4 weeks on Friday. I keep having Braxton Hicks contractions that hurt, so I am thinking about naturally inducing.
