I'm 1,5 cm dilated ...have contractions during most of the day ...Dr. says I should be going into labour at any moment (this was a week ago) and still nothing .....Seems like my baby has other plans ...I really want to know how I can induce labour at this point.

Hello, I'm 40 weeks today! This is my first baby...It's a girl. I have hardly had any contractions. My midwife says they usually induce after a week but I really don't want that. She keeps saying how much of a small girl I am and I have a big baby. My bf is afraid to have sex with me for fear she will come sooner because while all this is going on we are about to close on a new home. He wants to move in before the baby comes but somehow I think that's unlikely. Anyway, good luck to you all. Hopefully I go into labour before Sunday. I am curious to know whether there are any other methods other than walking and sex to induce natural labour.

Hello, I'm 39 weeks and my due date is next Wenesday. I have an almost two year old girl named Kayla and she was born in 2005 and was born five days before her due day. This time around, it seem like it's taking forever.... I don't remember how I felt last time. What should I watch for? How should I feel? I've just been feeling really tired. I'm ready to have this little baby girl and so is everyone else around me who keeps asking if today is the day! I've tried to have sex but it's uncomfortable. Does walking really work? I'v been lying around a lot because am always tired. What should I do ?

This is my second baby and I'm also tired of waiting . My husband and my two year old keep asking were the baby and if I think it's time. The thing is that I don't remember how it feels when labor starts. How do I know if today the day or not? How does it feel? Does anyone know ? I'm ready to have this baby girl!!

Hi my name is Kayla and 39 weeks and 3 days. I am so tired of being of having a kicking baby in me. She is my first and I have to say, I think my last. I really want to go into labor. Anyone know how I could do it without castrol oil?? Let me kow please. I have tried walking, sex, but nothing seems to be working to help me!!!

i was due 8 days ago. my mid wife attempted a sweep term +6 but my cervix was too far back. she said this normal and that baby was just not ready yet so going for a second attempt tomorrow, term +9. fingers crossed cause i will be induced term +12 else and that's only 4 days away. I'm so nervous. I've tried all sorts of things to help baby along, all the old wives tails--pineapple has to be fresh by the way! the only two my mid wife pushes me on is a brisk walk every day to keep baby well down there and making love, sperm the best ingredient going! although i'm so fed up of waiting and told i now face up to an 8 lb baby. i cant do alot about the fact it's just not ready. It worries me that one lady is trying to induce herself at 35 weeks! that's not fair on your baby please think again and give it a chance to prepare itself for the outside world! good luck eveyone
