Everyone that I know that has gotten induced has had a longer and harder labor. I plan to let her decide when she wants to come out, even if that means I go a week late. Friends that have gone into labor on their own seemed to have easier births.

hi i would never recommend that anyone used Castor oil it just makes you have a hard and painful birth. i am now 40wks by the scan date but my baby has been right down in the pelvis for over 2wks i went into early labor and someone told me that a warm bath would help. it did help it helped stop the contractions and now I'm not in early labor. so that was really upsetting for me. so far i have tried :--hot baths, hot and spicy foods, curry, walking , raspberry tea, and fresh pineapple. so far none have worked..
i still haven't given up on inducing myself ..
I'm dying to see my little girl for the first time...
