My daughter is going on 40 weeks, she is having alot of pain. there is times where she can't hardly walk.I want her doctor to go ahead and induce her. What do you think they will do? The doctor said they probably induce her on the 20th. But is a week early if she is in bad pain time to time

Like Stephanie,
I am 37 weeks in and expecting my second baby. Also like Stephanie I'm looking forward to holding my son. Everything just feels so tight now, I just want to be done with this pregnancy. My daughter had the good graces to be 14 days early of her due date. I really want her little brother to follow her lead. I bought castor oil today at the recomendation of my sister in law. She said it worked for her in her second pregnancy. I'm open to any other home grown ideas, sex is on the menue for tonights efforts. I was also told that Evening Primrose Oil might help the cervix thin not taken orally but if you pop capsules, up inside. Get your partner to help and that can be done along with sex!
Good luck ladies, each of our times will come, may they come sooner rather than later!

I am due today! I would love to have this baby today. I went to the Dr. this past Tuesday...he says I am 60% effaced and have not dilated at all. I have been this way for the past 3 visits. He is not talking about inducing me until Dec 18th. Pray for me because I don't know if I can handle being pregnant for 10 more days. I haven't tried any of the "tricks" because I haven't seen anyone comment on them being successful. Good luck to all of the rest of you who are going through the same thing. We will be mommies soon enough! I can't wait!

i tried to get my hands on some castor oil but they dont sell it anymore because it induces false labour , ive herd of other oils u can use that have the same effect... im 5days over due now and just want to hold my baby. im being induced on the 13th but i'd much rather go myself i was induced with my 1st and it wasn't 2 pleasant. i tried gin and a hot bath last nite but that didn't work i think now its just best to be patient and let nature take its course i don't want to try anything 2 drastic and put us both in danger...

I am 37 weeks pregnant..I havn't dropped the plug or dilated any. I have dropped though. I am just so stressed out and ready to have my son that its not even funny anymore. I only have 17 days till my due date. I've tried walking, and sex to help move things along. And, I swear it seems like nothing is working. Now when he moves it hurts really bad. He is long.. I know he is. When i was 32 weeks we did an ultrasound and they did that assumed birth weight guess.. and they said he was already 5 lbs!
I believe it because when I was 17 weeks we did and ultrasound and he was so FAT! He has been and still his head and belly. So, Im guessing its going to hurt to deliver him. He is my first so i have never experienced this before. I have been so emotionally stress here lately. I'm just ready to have him!

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I am getting so impatient. This is my second pregnancy:first was induced and I had to get a c-section because I stopped dilating at 5cm so I think I am going to see about going into labor naturally but I am so anxious I am already preparing on what to say to the doctor when I am 39 weeks so I can have the baby. I guess we'll see what happens
