im 38 weeks and 2cm dilated but my waters have not broken and i havent had a show ive tryed chilli sauce,sex,pinapple,rasberry tea what else is there to try?please help!!!

I am 38 weeks and was retested for diabetes, due to the sono last week averaging the baby about 8lbs 3oz. My test came back positive & will probably be induced this week. I feel like I have been ready for 2 weeks. This is my 4th baby and I am 42. Good luck to every one waiting!

CASTOR OIL IS BAD FOR THE BABY!! The baby can have a bowel movement still inside you causing the baby and you to be poisoned!

I have Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (separated pelvis) and am at 30 weeks with a lot of pain. Spoke with the doctor as to how long we were going to have to hold out on having this baby. He told me that 37 weeks is considered term but 36 is not considered premature (maybe varies from dr to dr or facility). Asked him if 36 weeks was too soon to have this baby and he said no but he will not induce until we absolutely have to. Asked him about Castor oil and he laughed and said it was a wives tale. He did go on to say it will work if your body is mostly ready to have the baby anyway. It in no way will put you into labor unless the other conditions are right. Hence the hit or miss results I would expect.

i am three nearly four days overdiew now and i have tried every thing rasberry tea walking warm baths sex everything if anyone knows of another affective way could they please tell me its so frustrating and nothing is working and the hospital will not induce me untill im two weeks over isnt that rediculous.
