I am 39 weeks and 3 days. I am 20 yrs. old and this is our first baby. I am plenty sick of being pregnant. My baby boy dropped completely at 33 weeks. His weight has been pushing so forcefully on my pelvis that my pubic bone has started to split. I have to wear a huge itchy girdle to push my hips together and lighten the load. I'm greatful that he has been in position ready to go for so long (headfirst) and know that he's at least ready that way. I have had lots of strong contractions over the last 2 1/2 months often coming every 31/2 min. but they always stop at the hospital. My doctor said 3 weeks ago he looked like a 7or 8 pounder and everywhere I go people ask me if I'm having twins. I feel like he's going to push himself out he pushes down so hard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated in trying to jump start labor.
Although I strongly caution anyone against taking any form of laxative. It can be transferred to your baby and that is VERY dangerous. If they poo in there (meconium) it can cause life threatning situation for your little one.

I am 35 weeks pregnant, with my fourth lil, girl. I know I cant really try anything yet, theough I would love to, all for selfish reasons, When the time draws nearer, has anyone had anyluck with these home remedies? Also, does anyone feels like everytime they stand up the baby is about to fall out. I feel sooooo Uncomfortable, because she shifts downward and literally makes it impossible to put one foot in front of the other, and I feel like I am going to wet my pants. I think she may be early as it is just because of the pressure I feel down low. I know she will be at least 2 weeks early as/per/ docs orders, cuz I have high blood pressure that can get very hard to control at times, and it is the reason I was induced with my last one 2 weeks early. By the way if any of you get something called Cervidil, to soften the cervix, be prepared to deliver soon, it wont necessarily happen but for me it did and my husband missed the birth of our last daughter because the nurse didnt warn us that Cervidil can induce labor on its own.

I am 37 weeks with my fourth child. I am about to go nuts! I am startig to retain water to the point people don't even recognize me. I tried castor oil with the other three and it didn't work. But I'm so desperate that I am actualy considering doind it again. I have a four, three and one year old and can not keep up with them. I thought about pressure points. Does anyone know if it actualy work?
