my due date was yesterday and im only 2 1/2 cm. i tried to take castor oil twice but it didnt work.it had me on the toilet most of the day and then i had some contractions later on but nothing else. are there any other ways to naturally induce my labor, that wont effect my baby?

I'm 38 weeks and 1day and I'm 3cm dilated and having contractions 4-5 mins apart I went to the hosptial because the were pain but they told me I was in early labor and sent me home.I was thinking about asking the doctor to induce me. I dont know if i should just wait but i really dont want to go over due. I have dont everything from walking to have sex. What should I do?

I am 39 weeks Pregnant and 4cm dilated, I have been having mild contractions the last few days, but I still see no baby. I can't wait anylonger because everything hurst when I get up from bed. I am thinking to get induced by next Friday if there still no baby by then. My 3 & 5 year old sons can't wait to meet their new brother. Any suggestions???

I am now 2 days over due, my doctor said that we are going to induce next wednesday if the little guy doesn't come out on his own. What can I do to help him along. I am about 70% thinned out and at 2 centimeters, I walk everyday for at least 30 minutes and have been doing squats, having some sex. What else can I do? I would much rather have this baby without having to take any drugs to be induces.

I was induced with my 1st daughter last year at 39 weeks 1cm dialated soft cervix....i should have waited though...22 hrs of extreamly strong and almost over bearing contractions from the Pitocin...I didnt have any epidural either (by my choice) I am due with our 2nd daughter and will not let them induce this time unless medical emergency. I think Drs use induction to their conveience and its not so great given the rise in C-sections these days...just my opinion but Gods timeing is the best timeing.

i have 18 days left with my first child and feel like i have been pregnant forver! i lost my first so seems like we are having to wait a lifetime to meet him. I know i am not full term yet but, i am getting very anxious and thinking i should try somthing? any ideas?
