I am ready to be induced i am so ready!!!! I am 39 weeks today i am 3cm dialated but they cant fit me in to my due day the 31st I cant stand being preg anymore!! I have a 20 month old son and its so hard to do anything with him. I have a doc appt. today i am asking if she can get me in sooner so hopefull!!!!!

I am currently 38 weeks pregnant, if you go by my original sept 5 due date. At my last ultrasound the machince said the 25 of Aug. I went to the docs today and my cervix is closed! I have been having contractions all the time and just want this baby to come out. Can I still go into labor anytime even if I am not dilated? This is my first!

i'm 38 weeks and 3 days...due sep 3rd. i'll wait until the end of the wk (so i'm 39wks) and then start the home remedies. don;t get me wrong...i'm actually enjoying having my baby in me, adn i don;t really want my pregnancy days to end. i have really bad reason for wanting to induce my labour. i might sound really shallow, but i don;t have any stretch marks yet, and i think if i go to wk 40 i'll get them...so i'm trying to avoid stretch marks..am i too shallow?

I would not like to be induced because I figure the baby will send out the right hormones when it is really ready to be born. I think all of the waiting is part of the preparation for being on someone's schedule other than my own. That's what being a brand-new parent is all about. But seriously, I can't wait to meet our baby!!!

My doctor asked me if i wanted to get induced tomorrow (weds.). i'm only 1 cm. dilated & 39 weeks. i want to know if that's too soon & what possible risks there are.
