my dr. tried to induce me over the weekend (right on my due date), tried for 2 days... and nothing. i was close to 3cm dialated and the cervix was thining out before the procedure but for some reason the oxytocin didn't help to push me over into active labor. now i'm exhausted, disappointed, and depressed. i hope i go into labor naturally this week. but i guess it's really up to my baby boy. he seems very happy inside of me... too happy, if you ask me.

I was 4 cm dialated, 90% and minus 1 at 35 weeks.. I was having ctx 5-7 minutes apart, they gave me medicine but my cxt were back the next day.. However, they went away on thier own after 5 hours.. I am currently 39 weeks with NO BABY.. I am still 4 cm, I have cxt all the time, but they just go away.. I have tried walking, sex, spicy food, choclate, mild laxatives, nipple stimulation, pelvic rocks, EVERYTHING, I even rubbed castrol oil on my belly... I went from thinking I was going to have a premature baby, to now not being able to actually go into labor! I guess it all depends on what the baby and your body wants....

My due date has come and gone and no baby. I've been walking to work (to keep busy, I'm still working a little), my husband and I have been having sex twice a day, and I've been drinking so much raspberry leaf tea I'm going to the bathroom 100 times a day. I'm so anxious about having the baby it's preventing me from getting a good night's sleep! What to do? My midwife says that there's no use seeing how dilated I am...."when the baby wants to come out, it will come out". Hopefully it's sooner than later.

I'm due in 3 days and I just want her out NOW!! My son was a week late and I feel if this one is I'm going to be ever more depressed and frustrated than I am now. Yesterday I had contractions all day and did everything I could to make them stronger and last longer with no baby to come yet. I am just SO FRUSTRATED!!! I feel like crying and just wish my doctor would think about inducing me but he says, "babies just come when they want to. We'll talk about inducing on the 21st, if it goes that long." God help me. It won't last that long because I'm about to reach up there and yank her out myself!!

To the woman re: military husband...Yeah how about cause for you and your baby, how would he feel if something happened to you? I'm ready and can't wait to have my 1st little girl but I would never want anything to happen to her becuase I was in a hurry. I'm hot sick, and have feet bigger than the Flinstones but oh well that is what pregnancy is all about..Good luck to us all!
