My due date was on 31/08/07 but on the 11/08/07 I was induced due to my high BP. I started the medicine at 18:15 and finished @ 04:15 with no pains. My water broke @ 05:05, pains started around 06:00, and 07:23 I gave birth to a girl, everything went well.

It is now Sept. 1st and I am 10 days overdue. I am getting really frustrated. I have tried everything people have told me to bring him out and nothing is working. I have gone jogging and racking the lawn, I have tried driving over construction many times and drinking castor oil as well, nothing has worked. He has no room to move and I can barely walk. I get up several times a night to go to the bathroom and my back hurts. I just don't know what to do. I am being induced on Tuesday but I really wish that he would come on his own.

I was due 3 days ago with my first. I have been dilated between 2-3cm and 80% effaced for a week now. I have been having irregular contractions for a couple days now, but nothing steady and strong. She doesn't want to come out! I'm starting to get a little nervous and scared. Everyone keeps calling and sending emails, "Where is she?" I'm going to go insane soon.

I was due 3 days ago with my first and I have been dialated 2cm, 75% effaced for 2 weeks! My membranes have been stripped and I've had irregular contractions for over a week. I don't think my baby can drop any lower but he just won't come out! I am being induced in 4 days, but I would rather go sooner!

I was due Tuesday, I am trying for a VBAC so I was just waiting and hoping for some good news at my Ob appt but instead I was told that baby is very high and my cervix is very long with no dilation... so now I'm just waiting and hoping that this baby will by some miracle drop down and something will happen...

I don't know how anyone knows how many cm's dilated they are. All my midwife has told me is that the baby's head's engaged to 4/5... No idea what this means. I'm 38+5 and sooo fed up!
