Hi gals!
You all are great for giving up the cigarettes (or atleast cutting down). I am not trying to brag, but I was 20 years old when I became pregnant with my first child, and had smoked a pack a day for about 5 years prior. The day I went to the doctor to confirm my pregnancy, I took one cigarette with me, (my goodbye cigarette; lol) and I said I quit. Before I quit smoking I griped and complained about coughin' and hackin', being breathless, and spending so much money on cigarettes. So when I became pregnant, I figured that was the best reason in the world to quit smoking. And almost 4 years later; I haven't smoked one cigarette. Like I said; I'm not trying to brag; just trying to pass on some words of encouragement. It was very difficult. I dreamed about smoking so much, that I would have to ask my husband the next day if we had gone out, and if I had really smoked a cigarette, and he would reassure me that I had not. Smoking is one of the hardest things in life to give up! So I am proud of each and every one of you ladies that give it up, cut down, (or atleast feel bad for smoking) while you are pregnant. It is a very selfless act, and I wish you all the best of luck in life!
Thanks,
Mandy
