Hi livvyloo...I am glad that you found this forum...it is wonderful! I found it not too long ago and have made wonderful friends in the same situation. As far as your situation goes I have had a similar situation. I now have a 2 1/2 year old who at the beginning started out as a twin. I started spotting only 2 days after I took the hpt and they immediately put me on the prometrium. They gave me a sonogram immediately and found that there were two separate sacs...one had a heartbeat (my son now) and the other one didn't. But again...they said that it was normal for that to happen and requested that I come back in another 2 weeks for another sonogram. I was doing the prometrium every day for the first trimester. When I went back for the second sono, the other sac had disappeared...so I am thankful that I have my little guy. I am trying to get pregnant again as we speak...I am due for the period Sunday so keep the fingers crossed:) This time around they have put me on the prometrium day 17 that way I can make sure that there is enough in there prior to getting pregnant. I am confident that it will work as I have a known luteal phase deficeincy. This time though they have out me on it vaginally twice a day...I say the more the merrier! I wish you all the luck in the world and share you feelings...stay positive and let me know what other advice I can give you...talk to you soon!
