Mattysmommy2000: On the folic acid front -- as far as birth defects and such, I don't think you need to worry about missing a week. My best friend (shamefully, I know) literally did not take ONE prenatal vitamin her entire pregnancy. Not one. And I know she wasn't drinking any extra orange juice or otherwise paying attention to folic acid intake -- and her son is totally fine. He's 2 years old now and is completely normal and healthy. So I wouldn't sweat missing a week or so; we all have enough to worry about with just trying to keep our pregnancies!
