I am also pregnant (19 weeks) with a belly/navel ring (homemade 10 years ago). Even if it is still confortable (and my belly really popped!), since the ring is really small (Gauge 16 8mm in diameter) I will reme it to play safe and avoid any potential complication. I found a great solution to keep the hole open, I will use a threader earring (remember 15 years ago they were trendy!) they are now back in stores(and very tacky IMO). Anyway, it's a small sterling silver chain (5 inches long) with a rigid end (1cm long), so you can insert it like a shoe lace. I bought mine from the internet because they were really cheap compare to the stores (2$ VS 50$ OK it was gold, but I don;t care!!).
