I am 23 years old and took clomid for the first time two years ago. I also had pains and a little spotting when i was about 5 weeks pregnant and have now decided to try again for my second child. I had a 6 pound baby boy when i was 37 weeks.(i was induced) Clomid worked for me on the first cycle along with metformin. Good luck to all of you!
