wishful.thinking, I've been doing lots of research (like you) and I found that approximately 15 percent of all fraternal twin pregnancy had an egg from each ovary. The pain I'm experiencing isn't severe enough to be a ruptured ovary so I doubt that is the case. I read that it is the type on pain that will make you fall to your knees and cry.

I personally was slightly worried because I have no problem with fertility or ovulating. I am a bit irregular, yes (cycles range from 28-35 days) but I always ovulate. I am trying for twins because DH and I always wanted 5 children. Currently we have 3 DD's who are 5, 3 and 21 months. This unfortunately is going to have to be my last pregnancy due to uterine issues, so we are hoping for twins (with at least 1 DS). I too am glad that there is no one on this thread who is chastising. There are too many who judge out there, not thinking that perhaps those of us who are taking u/p Clomid may have good reasons for it.
