YES YOU CAN! I know a woman who had "twins" but one of them was conceived after the other. She was part of a research study on endometriosis and conception so they were doing extremely frequent ultrasounds from the get-go. On the first several months' ultrasounds only one baby was there, then 'voila', the second one appeared but was obviously much, much smaller. I also watched a dateline show where a pregnant woman was cheating on her white husband with a black man and had "twins" one white, on black. It happens all of the time in the animal kingdom, and can also happen to humans, although it is very rare. Please don't call people ignorant just because it seems improbable to you!
