This is my first time visiting this site and I am amazed at the argument that lasted these 7 or 8 months. Lets get back to the pregnancy issues...I am 6 weeks pregnant and I started having symptoms before I even missed my period. My fatigue and nausea is alot stronger this time around (baby #4), and I can already feel pressure on my bladder. I'm wondering if I might be carrying twins. Anyone with experience can respond....In response to Leticia's question... Normally doctors wont let a woman go 2 weeks past her due date, the risk of having a stillborn baby gets higher. The amount of amniotic fluid starts to decrease and the placenta starts to shut down. Also the baby could continue to grow, increasing your change of C-section. There are other factors that make it dangerous to stay pregnant too long, but I cant think of them off the top of my head...I'm sure there are some stories about a woman carrying for 2 years or so, ha ha, but you should do some investigation on your own with credible sources. In response to Felicia...Im not sure what fetal age the sex can be determined thru ultrasound, but I do know this....up until that point, the male and female genitalia of the fetus resemble each other. The female clitoris resembles the male penis. As the fetus grows, the clitoris shrinks while the penis enlarges. Visit your local library to read up on these issues...If you can, find some college books on the topics to give you more detailed information.
