The sex of the fetus can usually be determined by 20 weeks (if the baby cooperates) I had no idea I was pregnant with twins, but now that I know, the symptoms that are very different from my other two pregnancies were the "daily" sickness (not only morning) and pressure/pain in my pelvic area. I experience this pelvic pain during the 9th month with my last baby and she weighed 8 lbs 15 oz. This time I felt pressure beginning in month 3. But I still never thought about twins. My only sibling, a sister has twins, so I thought it would skip me. Anyway I am now 6 months. I found out the that they were twin boys at my first ultrasound at 20 weeks. I feel a lot better, now that I decided to try eating many small meals (really I snack all day) instead of 3 big ones. But I try to stay healthy, fruits, fruit cups, pre-made salads. Things that are easy to pack in a little tote bag.
