Hello TripletMom, long time no see! Sounds like things are going well with you. I haven't been on here in quite some time as I've been busy but it's nice to see that you are still doing such a fine job at your public service announcements. It's also rather unfortunate that your truly valid warnings are still falling on deaf ears even after all this time. Just to clear the air for those choosing not to read TripletMom's posts in their entirety or missing the point entirely, she has never said that Clomid is evil or that no woman should ever take it even if there are fertility problems occuring. She said that taking Clomid (or any perscription med) without an Rx or while forgoing medical supervision isn't a wise course of action for anyone. I never heard her patronize anyone and the fact that she is choosing to use her experience for your benefit should cause you to react with introspection and gratitude instead of sarcasm and acidity. She is also correct. Taking Clomid without an Rx is risky business and it becomes even riskier without professional medical supervision. Even if you still chose to go with the unprescribed stuff, at least tell your physician what you are up to and go in for regular visits while you are on it. Either way, it is usually less than two hundred dollars for an exam (not counting lab fees) and if you indeed do not ovulate regularly you should have no trouble getting a perscription for the safer Clomid available in this country. Either way, it isn't smart to ignore or deny the potential danger in what you are doing. Best of luck to you.
