I'm not wanting to join in a debate or anything, but I would like to say that my doctor prescribed Clomid for me even though I am perfectly fertile and ovulate monthly. My husband has a low sperm count, and he thought that if I have more "targets" for the sperm to go after, I will have more chance of success. I took 50 mg on days 2-6 last month. This month, he upped me to 100 mg. I have not had any monitoring other than him asking for my chart and to keep track of OPK results. Chances of twins are not really that great anyway, and a good strong majority of twins are born without troubles. So IF these ladies were to be successful at conceiving twins, the likelihood of all being fine is very good.
