Krissy- I have heard mixed reviews on the OPK's. Some say that the test line has to be darker than the control line to be considered a positive, while others say that the test line can be lighter than the control line if it is normal for you (ex: if it is a monthly occurence for you and that the test lines are never darker than the control line). So I am having trouble determining this myself. Because LH can be detected in the urine throughout a cycle it is hard to say whether you are catching the beginning your ovulation surge or if it is just a small window of high concentration. If you normally get a deffinite positive on OPK's then I would say that for you a test line that is lighter than the control would NOT be considered a positive for you, however if you don't NORMALLY get a definite positive on OPK's then I would say that it is possible that you have caught your surge- whether it is enough to make you ovulate only your temperature chart will be able to tell you and even then the only way to know for sure that you ovulated successfully is when you get pregnant! :) I hate that it is such a guessing game! Good Luck!
