Hi everybody.. I'm new to posting and I've found a lot of helpful info on here. My hubby and I have been ttc for about 3 years now. I'll be 37 in January and am getting worried now about my age and possible complications if I become pregnant. I have 2 healthy boys from a past marriage but my husband has no kids, he's 38 and would like to experience fatherhood. He's happy with my boys and considers them his but we would like to have a baby that's ours. Last year I went to my OB/Gyn and had some lab work done on me and him and he said everything seemed to be fine except I have a tilted uterus and he wanted to do a lap procedure to go in and check everything out. We are both self employed and have no insurance and I didn't want to spend the money on that procedure since we'll be paying for the pregnancy and birth when and if it happens. My doctor wouldn't even consider putting me on Clomid unless I had the procedure done so we have just been trying on our own for the past year and it still hasn't happened. Last month I got desperate and ordered some Clomid from Mexico. I got 60 pills of the brand Clomid for $52 and after hearing what everyone is paying here in the states...wow. I'm a little nervous about doing this on my own without a doctors help but hopefully everything will turn out okay. I'm thinking I will start 100 mg on days 3-7 which will have me starting them on Wednesday. I have started taking Evening Primrose today, have been drinking grapefruit juice (which I read somewhere helps with the CM) and will start taking the Mucinex on day 7. I have enough pills for 6 months but hopefully I won't need them past 1 month :) I have read where a couple of people have said you shouldn't take them past 3 months so I'm not exactly sure what I should be doing. Does anyone have any advice for me or any suggestions? I am really nervous about this whole thing and am just hoping and praying for the best outcome. Thanks!
