I think the risk of cancer goes up if you are taking it for more than 6 cycles. I needed it exactly 6 cycles for both of my successful pregnancies. I think that there is confilicting info. on m/c with clomid. The reason behind many people taking clomid is due to annovulation or very irregular cycles. The causes behing this are what I believe usually factor into a m/c (just my opinion). I also think that b/c women on clomid are charting and know their cycles so well, they are aware of when they become pregnant within those first few weeks and if an early m/c were to occur, they already know they are pregnant where the rest of the world might just assume its a late period. My m/c happened at 6 weeks and that is before many women know they are pregnant. I have heard that if you take clomid later in your cycle (again, days 5-9 vs. 2-6) is produces healthier eggs and not as many. The earlier days give you more eggs, but maybe not the greatest quality. Talk to you Dr. definately and if you are this scared, maybe this isn't the route for you.
