What did you eat that you shouldn't have? As far as I know you can still eat seafood as long as it's cooked, just not large amount of fish that might contain mercury. They usually only recommending staying away from things with high allergy rates eg: shell fish, peanuts if you have known family allergies. I am 5wks preg with #3 & I ate seafood & peanut butter through both previous pregnancies & my bubs were big & healthy, & I will eat it with this one if that's what I crave. It is important to stay away from uncooked meats, uncooked eggs & other foods that might contain listeria, as the baby can't process even the smallest amount & it can lead to deformities & stillbirth. If you are really concerned talk to your doctor for more info.
