for most of my pregnancy, it was considered high risk..before knowing i was prego, i had my hair highlighted and lowlighted...i also had an emergency surgery that put me on vicoden for a little over a week...my ob has assured me many times that coloring/bleaching my hair is totally fine..just keep it well ventilated..i've also visited the organization of teratology web site, which also confirms my ob's thoughts, and has calmed my occasional fears..and will answer questions of perms and relaxers as well.
i'm currenlty 34 weeks, still highlight my hair, have had an amniocentesis(gentic and chromosome testing) and many ultrasounds, all confirming that my very active baby girl is completely healthy and adorable!!!
