I have to agree with KM. I also had a c-section after 29 hours of labor but only an hour of pushing and then failed forceps. At first when my doctor said we may have to go down this route, I was devestated. This is not what I wanted. However after a few more hours, I was asking for one. I had a fever and was dry heaving so I was burning off the epidural very quickly. VERY PAINFUL. The ceserean was very easy. I even had a blood transfusion two days later because I lost half my blood volume so my iron levels were extemely low. 3 days after my daughter was born I went home and was a little sore but I was out walking and couldn't wait to workout again. I was induced one week after my due date and I too had tried sex, spicy food, greasy food and bumpy car rides. Nothing worked for me. A friend bounced on an exercise ball and she swears that is what put her into labor.
