This is probably the very beginning of your labor, but it could go on for a while, you just never know. I lost my mucus plug about two weeks before my son was born, and it was exactly that -- it looked like someone had sneezed something nasty, lol. (Sorry for the TMI!) It wasn't bloody at all though. My bloody show came about 24 hours before I went into labor, and that looked like the start of my period -- bloody discharge. Oh, and I had hot flashes through the last trimester of my pregnancy (suppose it didn't help that it was august, huh?) and they definitely sucked.... sorry you're experiencing them too.
