I have read the Q&A,s below and would like to input the following, some of the answers are correct, pineapple in early pregnancy could cause miscarriages but this is only in fresh pineapple, the production process of canned pineapple removes the enzyme which causes miscarriages. Eating fresh pineapple in the latter stages of pregnacy causes the uterus to start contracting, having said that, you would need to eat about 7 whole pineapples to have any effect. Apparently. Who works these things out.?
