Thanks daniella, that's reassuring. When I told my mom I was dilated 1.5 cm she was like "you're dilating already !!! You're in labour!" To tell you the truth, I didn't know before I was pregnant either that some women dilate weeks before labour. I guess we're alot more informed these days...
