Danny I have been there. I got with this man at the age 12 going on 13, he was 3.5 years older that me. I was in love let me tell you, I dropped everything for him. We loved each other so much that words could nver explain. It still hurts sometimes when I look back to the way my heart burned for him, after a couple years we planned to get pregnant, I wanted to give him a loving family. He came from a very broken home. He never missed not one doc's appointment he hardly ever missed a kick, we were so happy and still very much in love. Of course we heard it all the entire time we were together, people said it wouldn't last, we were to young, we would grow apart. We never listen we thought we were different from everyone else. We fought to prove everyone wrong, and people started backing off when they saw what great parents we were. But its true when they say you change as you age. After 5 years of dating and a little over a year of marriage we got a divorce. I never saw it coming, he didn't either. I was to young and needed change at some point I realized that he wasn't going to take me anywhere in life, and I knew I was going places. Stay by your kids side even if you two split up, please stay constint in their lives. After we split he got heavy on drugs and now can not and doesn't want to see our daughter that he loved so much when we were together. Good luck in your stiuation.
