Its not an answer of whos wrong or right. If its her daughter, and she doesn't want to bring her out then thats her decision therefor shes right because its her child. I know it may seem over protective, but thats how I was when my daughter was first born. Atleast she cares about her baby. I wouldn't push her, let her take care of her baby without feeling like shes doing a bad job.
