Nerdy girl, thank you for that compliment. I'm kind of anal about the whole food thing b/c my dh had so many food allegeries as a baby so we are taking it slow and i wait at least 4 days to add something new in case she has a reaction. SO far so good, no reactions yet. And i wouldn't worry about what your family says, it sounds like you are doing just fine, you know your baby better than they do, you'll know when she is ready for more.
